Titled “Occupied Territory 1971-1988,” this show revisits the photographer’s best-known series: black-and-white pictures of empty showrooms, gyms, offices, and other interiors. One small, low-ceilinged room that houses a flight simulator is odder than most of Cohen’s subjects, but something’s off kilter in all of them, whether it’s a photomural of a space station behind an empty reception desk or a frieze of glossy stuffed fish in a recording studio. More amused than appalled, Cohen is a connoisseur of bad design, and she delights in rubbing our noses in it. Through Dec. 8.
