What happens when you ask your friends to dress up like TV and film characters of the eighties and sing songs with you? You enter the mind of Jaimie Warren, which builds campy worlds out of reverence for these characters. This show consists of one video, “You Are Not Alone,” 2014, in which she plays Michael Jackson in a recasting of a 16th, 17th century genealogical painting. In her version, Michael Jackson meets Freddy Krueger and other horror movie icons. Expect a more positive outcome than offered by Nightmare on Elm Street.
